Starting Youtube in 2023 With a Desk Tour
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.Год назад
Happy New Year everyone! After ten years of thinking about it in 2022 I finally started filming travel vlogs. This year my goal is to actually edit those vlogs and to put out more content. I felt like one way I could accomplish that is by setting up a dedicated workspace. This desk is just the beginning for me but it's going to help bring more content to this channel. Stay tuned! - Greg What's ...
Skiing in Utah and First Time Rock Climbing | Vlog 2
Просмотров 313Год назад
Welcome back to another episode! After leaving California in the previous episode I headed over to Utah. I met up with some friends there for our annual ski trip. Traveling around Utah is always an adventure. After finding mixed snow conditions in the mountains we headed further south to go rock climbing. We also made a stop at Sand Hollow State Park to check out Polaris Adventures. Thanks for ...
First Time in Hammertown | Vlog 1
Просмотров 2572 года назад
Welcome to my first vlog episode! In this video I head to Johnson Valley California to cover a desert race called King of the Hammers. I've been thinking about shooting travel vlogs for many years now. I figured with my the new iPhone 13 Pro and Insta360 X2 camera in hand I would capture whatever behind the scenes stuff I could (which ended up not being a lot). B/c of the airbnb location I had ...
Canon 5D Mark IV on the Zhiyun Crane
Просмотров 82 тыс.7 лет назад
My 2nd test with the Zhiyun Crane too see how it handles the Canon 5D Mark IV with a Rokinon 14mm lens. Shot in "Cinestyle" profile which is a flat profile picture from Technicolor designed specifically for Canon DSLR's. Edited and Graded in Premiere Pro CC. Exported using the RUclips 2160p preset. With the 1.74x crop in 4K the 14mm Rokinon looks more like 24mm. It's still wide but makes it har...
Cool setup! Have you considered the idea of getting an external monitor? It will really improve your productivity and will make editing so much easier thanks to the extra real-state. Also for the astethics😏. Keep the content!
Good luck
Greg,Thank you-perfect .have a nice day, 🤙
cool stuff man! keep up the good work. new sub here 👍🏼
Thanks for the feedback and the sub! Working on the next video already!
Great shots in this vid!
Sweet video dude!!!!!
Drone shots and editing on point 👌🏼
🔥🔥🔥
Love it!
Sick video! Love the content
Love it!
We want more, Very sick!
Great video man. I'm trying to balance a 5D mark iii with a vintage 24mm nikkor lens, no luck:( although i get it roughly balanced there is still an obvious side jitter when filming. I used the Zhiyun mobile app to select "Strong" mode. Still cant get it going properly. If you have any tips that would be appreciated. cheers
Awesome shots. Did you use the Samyang AF 14mm version or the manual one?
is this NYC?
This vid is lit mate!
Unless I’m tripping, it looks like the image is tilted slightly and I see a slight fish eye effect here and there....
Geebin Inc at :25 definitely tilted. It's a 14mm lens (not fisheye) but there is some distortion from it. Even with the 1.74x crop
More PLEASE!
The shot at :30 tho!!! Btw which version of zhiyun crane r u using?
This was shot on the original Zhiyun Crane V1
Gorgeous, and great score
Seems like a bit of a struggle on the motors with the pan follow, think a lighter setup would make it smoother?
loved it
Hi... How did you focus?
Equipement aside, those we're some amazing shots my friend... Wow
One more question: when you used the Zhiyun w/ the canon 16-35mm did you have any trouble w/ vibration in the gimble?
what kind of vibration? like it shaking from the weight of the combo or? it certain positions pans/tilts are the perfectly smooth initially but get smoother when continuing that movement
it was this weird shaking at first but then I got on the app and adjusted the setting to "strong." Fixed it right away. Thx!
Did you use software stabilization as well, or is this just from the camera? Looks awesome!
i think some shots had like 5% warp stabilizer used. I can't recall. I'll look at the project and get back to you!
Greg Chmiel Cool thanks! thinking about getting the Zhyhin crane since it looks like it will work with the Canon 5d IV.....your video convinced me! I just wondered if there was software stability as well.
Wat city is dis anybody ?
NGBHD Chicago!
Love the video! Possibly purchasing the Zhiyun Crane. I know you used the Rokinon 14mm prime. How does it look w/ the Canon 16-35mm? I would love to buy a prime set but i'm looking to maximize my $. I'm shooting real estate walk-throughs so wide angle is important.
I shoot everything with a 24mm prime now which is usually not wide enough for real estate. I just tried it with the Canon 16-35mm F4 IS. It's a little heavy but it works and you can further tweak it in the app via bluetooth. You have to balance it for a specific focal length though. Like if its balanced for 16mm and then you zoom in it throws off the balance and the motors might struggle a little. It weighs 615g compared to the rokinon 14mm cine at 620g.
Thanks!
crane v1 or v2?
Gustavo Damarello version 1. V2 has the same payload which leads me to believe it's the same motors. unless the firmware is better I'd assume you get the same performance as V1.
rather have a ronin and slider
rather have 1.5 k than but only have 500 but hey thats life
TLRD; search spotify for "Rampant Chill". It will be on an album called "Focus Night." So far as I can tell, the name of this song / music is MISLABELED in Shazam as "Bandolers-La Recera by Kevin MacLeod". But Soundhound correctly identified the song name as "Rampant Chill" and it was available on Spotify. However, Spotify claims it is by an artist named "Angels" (also wrong).
I want it ! A monopod is good, but to shoot while walking is not terrible.
I´m a filmmaker but I haven´t got enough money, I just got 400 euros, but I love making smoothe footage
It's not about the gear, it's the person behind that gear
Canon is canon 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻Awesome
